The Artist
Xiaochuan was born in Tianjin, China. After graduating from the Art Department of Hebei North University, he worked as a teacher and then a designer, before resolutely setting that aside to become a full-time artist.
The road of art is long and full of hardship, yet he has never stopped walking it — “painful and joyful at once” is perhaps the truest portrait of his life in art.
